As announced, US lawyer Terry Collingsworth has filed an appeal with the federal court of the District of Columbia on behalf of 13 Congolese plaintiffs.

In a class action suit against Apple, Google, Microsoft, Tesla and Dell brought to the US courts by 13 Congolese nationals over the use of child labour in the mines, lawyer Terry Collingsworth, argues that recent rulings regarding sex trafficking through pornographic websites and videos support his clients' case.

Terry Collingsworth, representing plaintiffs who accuse US tech firms of faciltiating child labour in mines, has accepted the arguments of Hogan Lovells, the law firm representing Alphabet, which state that as it is simply Google's parent company, it is not directly responsible for the activities of its subsidiary.
